Effective 2026-09-15 · Product: Chrome extension “Vital”
This policy describes how the Vital extension handles data. The extension is provided by Vital (https://vital.aimo.plus). It saves web content into your own Vital account when you choose to save.
Only when you click the toolbar, use the shortcut, or pick a context-menu item:
We do not record browsing history for pages you did not save, and we do not scan other tabs.
Only to write items into your Vital read-later inbox or tasks, and to show recent saves in the extension. Not for advertising. Not sold. Not given to third parties unrelated to operating Vital.
chrome.storage (access token in session storage, refresh
token in local storage)
Items and files stay with your Vital account until you delete them or close the account. Uninstalling the extension clears on-device tokens and does not automatically delete content already saved on the server.
storage, activeTab, scripting, contextMenus, offscreen, and host permissions for Vital domains are used only to save into Vital. The extension does not load remotely hosted scripts.
